The Official College of Private Detectives of Catalonia (CODPCAT) is the first professional association of private investigators created in Spain, established on March 30, 1999. Based in Barcelona, CODPCAT connects hundreds of private detectives with a common goal: to professionalise private investigation while guaranteeing the highest standards for citizens. The College provides legal advice, training, benefits, and a strong professional network for licensed detectives across Catalonia. CODPCAT also organises DETCON, its annual congress bringing together intelligence experts and investigation professionals.
