A quieter week. The IX Congreso Internacional de Seguridad Privada runs in Cartagena, Colombia on Thursday and Friday. TALI Region 3 meets in Houston and OASIS online on Tuesday, and IAPI meets in Indianapolis on Thursday.
Next week: SCFIA near Palm Springs on 3 November, PBSA Canada on the 5th, and ADSAI in Chicago and GAPPI in Georgia on the 6th. ACFE's Fraud Conference Canada follows in Montréal on 15–17 November.
New on the calendar: NYSPPSA's convention in Smithtown, New York on 8 November, FAPPS in Orlando and Warsaw Disputes Days next spring, and ACFE's 2027 Leadership Summit in Austin.
Nine associations joined the directory too: CPIO, CPI-AC, CAPI, PIABC, AAPI and APEPQ from Canada, plus APDA in Armenia, ONARP in France and ANIDEP in Portugal. Member of one? Add it to your profile so it shows on your card.
Last week we asked members of WAD and CII to check our free Licensing Atlas against the rules in their own countries. In a few days it grew from 72 countries to 132, plus all 50 US states and DC.
Investigators in Japan, the US, France, Switzerland, Canada, Armenia, Costa Rica, Panama and Portugal sent corrections, and every one is now live. Japan has no PI licence, only a police notification. A Texas Class C licence covers investigations. Only three Swiss cantons require authorisation.
Thank you. If your country is missing or something has changed, tell us at info@investigatorevents.com.
