Private investigator licensing in Tunisia
No. Tunisia has no specific private investigator licence.
Tunisia has no licensing scheme for private investigators. The only private security licence, issued by the Minister of the Interior under Law 2002-81, covers guarding, cash-in-transit and close protection, not investigation, and requires five years' Tunisian nationality. Investigators therefore work without a sector licence, subject to general law including the personal data protection law (Organic Law 2004-63).1
