Private investigator licensing in Armenia

No. Armenia has no specific private investigator licence.

Armenia has no law that licenses private detectives. Detective or investigation work is not on the list of licensed activities in the Law on Licensing, which names private security guarding but no investigation activity, so investigators work through an ordinary registered business. Guarding and bodyguard services are licensed separately under the 2012 Law on Private Security Activity. Personal data, privacy and criminal law still limit what investigators may do.1
