Private investigator licensing in Solomon Islands
No. Solomon Islands has no specific private investigator licence.
Solomon Islands has no law that licenses private investigators or private security firms. A full-text check of the 224 consolidated Acts on PacLII and a title check of the sessional Acts found no reference to private investigators, detectives, inquiry agents or security-firm licensing; 'security services' appears only in the Sales Tax Act (Cap. 125), which taxes them at 10% of the contract cost, and in aviation and telecommunications law.
